Although human rights impact assessment is a relatively new concept, recognition is growing with regard to the need to measure the impact of human rights in development, trade and other activities.The Human Rights Impact Resource Centre (HRIRC) addresses this by providing centralized access to a broad range of information relating to human rights impact assessment (HRIA). It accumulates information from diverse sources in one place, makes this available to an audience of varying interests and expertise. HRIRC users can share knowledge and highlight activities such as training courses that are taking place. |
